RGB Metal Switches are switches that are available with special LED illumination features.
RGB is an abbreviation of ‘Red, Green, Blue’. In RGB LED switches, these three colours can be combined in order to achieve over 16 million different hues of light. Therefore, by selecting RGB switches for your project, there is a much wider variety of LED illumination colours for you to choose.
LEDs (light emitting diodes) are electronic components that emit light. LEDs are energy efficient, meaning that they typically consume very low amounts of power, whilst still giving a significant lumen output. LEDs commonly consume less energy than their alternatives and have an extremely long service life of 30,000 to 100,000 hours.

As well as the wide variety of illumination options available, the material of these switches can also be customised. Explore all of our custom options.
The default wiring for our metal RGB switches is Common Anode (3A). However, if you require Common Cathode (3C), this can be requested when ordering.
Single Colour: Shows a single colour when illuminated and usually indicates the device is operational, or signals a fault.
Dual/Bi-Colour: Allows two colours in a single LED while only having two pins, which makes it ideal for devices that want to indicate a change between the operation and the non-operational state.
