What is a Door Exit Button?
Door Exit Buttons are large, user-friendly buttons that are designed to open doors that are electronically locked for safety/security reasons. This means that these switches usually have a momentary function, so that the door is only unlocked for a few seconds after the button has been pressed.
These buttons form an essential part of access control systems in applications and settings where doors need to be secured, whilst still keeping access quick and simple. Some examples of where you may find door exit buttons include healthcare facilities, offices, hotels, food service areas and shops.
