What is a Toggle Switch?
A toggle switch is a type of electromechanical component that features a lever or ‘toggle’ that is pushed to turn a circuit/system on and off. These switches are simple to operate and with a range of contact configuration options (SPST to 4PDT) they are suitable for a wide variety of applications.
Toggle switches are available in different orientations (horizontal, vertical, right-angle) and can range in sizes from standard to miniature, sub-miniature and ultra-miniature.

What is a Rocker Switch?
A rocker switch is one of the most commonly seen types of electromechanical components due to their ease of use. These switches feature a see-saw mechanism that ‘rocks’ between two or three positions to control a circuit.
Rocker switches can be found in a variety of styles, with different shapes, sizes, contact configurations (SPST – 4PDT) and LED illumination options available. It is also easy to add custom text or symbols to rocker switches if required.
