What They Do
- Embryology Lab Automation – developing robotic and microfluidic systems to take over intricate, operator-heavy tasks such as ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) and embryo handling, reducing variability and human error.
- Non-Invasive Embryo Selection – using metabolomic analytics (AI-powered, non-invasive testing) to improve embryo quality assessment and increase pregnancy outcomes.
- Automated Cryopreservation (Egg Freezing / Embryo Vitrification) – their DaVitri platform standardises the vitrification process – freezing and warming eggs/embryos with controlled exposure and timing. Initial studies suggest improved survival rates and 3-4× greater embryologist efficiency.

DaVitri
The DaVitri is their semi-automated device for oocyte and embryo vitrification (otherwise known as egg freezing) and thawing. With this innovative device, Overture Life aims to make these processes more efficient, consistent and economical, as well as reducing the complexity of performing vitrification by standardising the protocol.
Initial studies of the DaVitri system suggest improved survival rates of oocytes/embryos, and 3 to 4 times greater embryologist efficiency.
